Coolors

Generate, browse, and save color palettes in seconds.

Use it for

  • Generating a five-color palette quickly by locking the colors you like and regenerating the rest.
  • Pulling a palette out of a photo or illustration with the image picker.
  • Checking contrast and previewing a palette on real UI layouts before handing it to development (contrast checks within a palette are Pro).

Not for

  • Design systems with more than 5 colors per palette or more than 10 saved palettes on the free plan.
  • Keeping palettes and your profile private on the free plan: a private profile is a Pro feature.

Free tier

Palettes of up to 5 colors, up to 10 saved palettes, 5 saved colors, 1 project and 1 collection, image color picking and collages with limited options. Ads are shown.

Caveats

  • Pro removes ads and adds palettes of up to 10 colors, unlimited saves, palette contrast checks and Coolors AI with 3,000 credits/month. The pricing page also lists a one-time $99 option (marked down from $149).
  • Subscription prices differ by channel: the iOS app lists Pro at $4.99/month or $35.99/year; the web pricing page shows its subscription price only after it loads in the browser.

Alternatives
